May Multi-Sensory Workshop

The Dyslexia Centre North West is excited to announce that Famous Author Michael Barrett, author of ‘Rise of the Invincibles’ will be joining the team at our next action packed Multi-sensory learning workshop on Saturday 18th May 10.30-12.00 at NormanJepson Preston. All attendees will receive a free Dyslexia friendly font version signed copy of his book at a book signing extravaganza during the workshop usually worth £17 !

But, wait there’s more- not only will Michael be joining in with the workshop, chatting to our fabulous pupils and tucking into the home-made scones with our parents- but he will also be helping us judge the winner for our new ‘Dyslexia’s Got Talent’ competition, for more info see Dyslexia’s Got Talent which gives more info about our other online guest judge dyslexic Britain’s Got Talent Singing Sensation Josh Curnow (who will be judging our entries online), alongside our very own ‘Dyslexia Young Ambassador’ Alice.

The workshop is open to children aged 7-11 and has something for everyone- focusing on developing multi-sensory learning, working memory and raising self-esteem. Head of Centre, Katie Nelson (Dyslexia/Dyscalculia Specialist Teacher and SEND School Advisor) will also be available on the day to offer advice, talk through reports, IEPS and pupil passports and answer any questions that you may have.
